React faster than ever before with the subscriptions api & pricing events notifications

Changes to Prices? Get Notified in 60 Seconds

Today Amazon announced a new API for Amazon sellers. The Subscriptions API has huge implications for sellers who actively reprice their inventories. Instead of checking your items to see if anything has changed, rely on Amazon to provide notifications of changes. Sellers will be able to react and update prices within minutes instead of hours.

According to Amazon’s announcement, whenever there is a price change or offer listing change for any of the top 20 offers, by conditionProducts can only be listed on Amazon if... More (new or used), for an item that you sell, you receive a notification within 60 seconds of a price change or offer listing change.

Over the past few months, SellerEngine has been working with Amazon to perfect this API leading up to its public release. Because of this, we are excited to announce that Sellery, our flagship cloud-based repricer, will soon be providing Amazon sellers with this new and valuable data.

Taking Repricing One Step Further

SellerEngine will be offering the first solution that reacts to competition changes as soon as they happen. Rather than verifying every item in the inventory periodically and hoping to discover changes in price, Sellery will soon be able to react within minutes to any competitor’s movements. This means that Amazon sellers who use Sellery will own the ideal spot in the offers list on Amazon longer than ever before, leading to increased sales and profit.

While other software tools are playing catch-up and working to add new features, Sellery will soon allow Amazon sellers to:

  • Receive notifications about pricing changes to items in their inventory. Act on these notifications to keep up with the competition.
  • Be more aware of their competition. Know who is and isn’t a Featured Merchant.
  • See Amazon’s offer with 100% certainty! Know exactly when you’re competing against Amazon Retail.
  • Compete against the lowest FBA price.

Want to Be Part of the Revolution?

Here at SellerEngine we believe that these notifications will revolutionize the way that sellers on Amazon manage their inventories and their pricing.

If you want to be among the first Amazon sellers to take advantage of pricing events notifications, sign up for Sellery today. Then email our help team and let them know that you’re interested.

In addition to Sellery, SellerEngine is home to SellerEngine Plus, the original listing, FBA management and repricing software for Amazon sellers, as well as Profit Bandit, the #1 scouting and sourcing app for iPhone and Android. SellerEngine also provides hands-on professional services for Amazon sellers who need more than software to reach their goals.

    Paul,

I realize this post is old, but I couldnt help notice you mentioned that the SUB API allows Sellery to compete against the low FBA price.
Is this guaranteed, every time, for every item? or is it only if there happens to be an FBA offer in the lowest 20?

    Thanks.

      Hi David,

Thank you for your comment and for browsing through our blog as well:).

Within Sellery you can indeed compete against the lowest FBA offer, irrespective if it is among the lowest 20 offers or not.

The API Paul is talking about in the blog post is used by Sellery for some time now. The data it provides is valuable for Amazon sellers to build a more targeted pricing strategy.

If you have any other questions please send me an e-mail at Sellery@SellerEngine.com and I’ll be happy to help.

      Take care,
      Iulia
