Encouraging buyers to leave feedback

But how can you encourage buyers to leave feedback without being a pest? Remember that Amazon sends users several automated requests for feedback. So sending direct messages through Seller CentralAmazon Seller Central is a portal or a h... More may be overkill.

If you merchant-fulfill your items and use Amazon’s packing slip, it has a notice on it reminding buyers to leave feedback. If you create your own packing slips, consider including something like this as well.

A creative option is inserting a (neatly!) handwritten note requesting feedback. I’ve had excellent success with this method, although it can be very time consuming.

Overall though, the best way to encourage buyers to leave feedback is to be exceptional in all aspects of your service:

  • Pack items securely
  • Ship and confirm quickly
  • Provide accurate tracking numbers
  • Answer all questions from your customers
  • Do your best to resolve any negative customer experiences

Commit yourself to being an outstanding seller and you’ll see it reflected in the feedback that you receive.
