Using software to help run your Amazon businessAmazon Business is Amazon’s wholesale ... More is no longer a novelty. Whether it’s managing your orders and stock, optimizing your listings, or doing research on what to buy next, Amazon repricing software can relieve some of the pressure on your workflow. So, too, can a savvy technical support crew.
When it comes to Amazon repricing, there’s no shortage of software tools. However, there’s only so much that setting up lower and upper limits can do. If you really want to outlast and outwit your competition in the ecommerce business, you need to up your game.
Does Repricing Take Know-How or Technology?
We think it’s a bit of both. We take this dual approach to repricing because experience shows us there are two factors that play into a successful repricing strategy:
1. Factoring in your market conditions. Sellery, the real-time repricer developed by SellerEngine, does just that, instantly adapting to changes in the market thanks to SmartLists. This unique feature enables sellers to automatically group their inventory into sections, based on different criteria relevant to their business (sales rankThe sales rank of products on Amazon ind... More, sales velocity, BuyBox status, type of competitors, conditionProducts can only be listed on Amazon if... More and many others).
Data is updated dynamically, with inventory items shifting from one SmartList to the next, and their prices changing based on pre-set pricing rules. Technicalities aside, this feature spares you all the brainpower and manpower it takes to reprice every item manually. Here’s how:
- If you’re an FBA seller, and need to know every time your offer is the last one available – so that you can make the most of it – the SmartList feature will help you spot those items.
- If you want to react with a different price strategy when you win or you lose the Buy BoxThis refers to the situation where a sel... More, a Smart list would take care of that.
- If you want to know when your FBA inventory reaches a certain age, so you can accelerate the sale, there are SmartLists you can set up for these items.
- If you want to keep a close eye on sales velocity, to identify bestsellers, SmartLists would help you pinpoint and isolate these items.
- If you need to know when Amazon becomes your main competitor, so you can adapt your pricing strategy, SmartLists keep you up-to-speed with all your competitors’ activities, including Amazon’s.
2. Tapping into the intuition of experts. Let your software support team’s experience inform your decisions. With so much information to take in – at times contradictory – and so many fast-paced changes, it’s hard to stay on top of everything. However, an experienced support team can be the fresh pair of eyes you need to reprice the right way, so use the savviness and skills of these seasoned experts on Amazon repricing tools.
Whatever your goals or business model, an experienced support member will factor in your performance metrics and current best practices, finding opportunities to align your pricing strategy with your specific goals. This insight also feeds into the prudence your business needs to avoid making mistakes, such as selling at a loss.
At SellerEngine, our support team brings together members with extensive experience, who stay in touch with Amazon sellers constantly, attending industry conferences and exhibiting at trade shows to take the pulse of the industry.
We leverage what we learn from our clients, so the software support team is up to speed with the latest changes to Amazon policies. We can use these insights by applying them to your repricing approach, to build up the strategy you’re looking for, and to perfect our suite of services, which includes Amazon Account Reinstatement, Customer Support and Account Audit.
So, do you need Sellery and our services to reprice? No. Do you need them for the fastest and safest Amazon repricing strategy? Yes. Remember: when you have a smart repricer and a savvy tech crew to do the hard work for you, you’re halfway there. We’ll be standing by, though, ready and eager to show you how much more you could achieve with Sellery and our Services packages.

Hello Iulia… It appears your the repricing expert for SEP. I am pasting a message I just sent to SEP through your web site. I wanted to make sure you saw it because it appears your the one in the know…Here it is…
Hello..
This is Steve Bedsole and I have been a subscriber to SE Plus almost since the beginning. I recently had a complete computer crash and I am currently attempting to get my repricer scemas hooked up like I used to have them and I find that the software will not allow me to set up different schemas for difference conditions. I even tried to look up my old repricer schemas on my back up computer and I cannot even get it to open up.
After going to your web site I am not finding any info on how to set up the schemas for repricing in SEP. What I did find is a new program service your offering called Sellery. I Have seen this Sellery offered in many of your past email updates and frankly never paid much attention to it because I was happy with the schemas I had set up in SEP.
So my question is this…Have you replaced the repricing ability in SEP with Sellery? Or can I still set up multiple schemas as before in SEP? If so…can you please tell me where to find the instructions to set up mulitply schemas or…do you have a file on my old schemas or can you tell me where to find the file?
Sorry for the long message….It might be easier for both of us if we could have a confirance call or…better yet…do a session where you can go onto my computer and reset my schemas they way they were or help me through this process. I just want to be able to do what I have always been able to do with SEP… Meaning set up multible schemas (one for each condition) and be able to use that as a repricer.
Best Regards,
Steve Bedsole

@Steve: I see that my colleague Adam already replied to your message. Just like he explained, Seller Engine Plus does not backup your reprice schemas automatically and if the schema files are now deleted from your computer they cannot be retrieved from anywhere else. You will have to set up new ones.
About documentation on how to set up reprice schemas, I believe you will find all the instructions you need on setting up reprice schemas here: https://SellerEngine.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200640645
If you’re having difficulty following these instructions let us know by replying to our emails.
As for Sellery and Seller Engine Plus, we haven’t replaced pricing functionality in Seller Engine Plus with Sellery. You can still use SE Plus for repricing just like you did until now, or you can try out Sellery instead which offers more in depth repricing options, and twice the repricing speed. If you’d like to find out more about Sellery go ahead and sign up for a trial or request additional details by sending an email to support.
