SellerEngine

New SellerEngine plus – what’s in?

Here’s a quick overview of the biggest changes you’ll find in the newest version of SellerEngine Plus:

Price+Shipping

You can now compete against other offers using their total Price+Shipping (Landed Price).

Amazon’s Pricing Buckets

The new Amazon API begins by looking for the 20 lowest-priced offers (sorted by Price+Shipping) for each Condition (New/Used/Refurbished/Collectible) and places them in “buckets.”

Each bucket represents a unique combination of qualifiers (Condition, FBA, Local Sellers, Lead Time To Ship, and Feedback Rating).

The lowest-priced offer from each bucket is then given to SellerEngine Plus (or any other 3rd party software that uses the Amazon API). If there are multiple offers with the same lowest total Price+Shipping in a bucket, then preference is given to the offer from the seller with the greatest total feedback count.

What this means is that if an FBA offer isn’t among those first 20 lowest offers, it won’t be shown. This is unfortunately a limitation of the new Amazon API.

There are also several new columns to be found in the Price Check tab. Here’s what they mean:

 MegaSeller

You may have noticed that you can no identify Amazon’s price on an item. However, we’ve added MegaSeller, which identifies an offer from a seller that meets the following criteria:

This seller may be Amazon or it may be another high-volume seller.

Lead Time to Ship

Lead Time to Ship is a value that refers to the length of time a seller will take to ship an item. A Lead Time to Ship of greater than 0-2 days can indicate when an item’s shipment is d out of stock.

Buy Box

You can now view the Buy Box price for items in the Price Check tab. Buy Box pricing can also be used in the repricing logic, allowing you to compete for the Buy Box.
