People often ask about the best way to set up Profit Bandit in order to get the information they need from the app. The truth is that there is no specific right or wrong way to set it up, it all depends on each person’s business and strategy.

Let’s say you are an FBA seller, selling new items, then you will most likely want to compare your selling price to the selling price of other FBA sellers with items in the same condition as yours. In this case, the settings should be:

  • FBA seller turned on
  • Sell price based on FBA turned on
  • New condition selected

Connecting a Bluetooth Scanner to Profit Bandit for Android

Connecting a bluetooth scanner to Profit Bandit is easier than you might think. Today I’m going to show you, step-by-step, how to connect Profit Bandit to your Android phone.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. An Android phone or tablet. Note that depending on your phone or tablet, your Android operating system may appear slightly different.
  2. Profit Bandit with an enabled Bluetooth add-on. Tap the puzzle piece icon profit bandit settings  in Profit Bandit and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Serial Magic Gears installed on your Android device.
  4. A scanfob. Most of our users use the OPN-2002 or the SerialIO Scanfob 2002.
  5. The instructions that came with your Scanfob. I’ll be connecting an OPN-2002 and will be using these instructions. You’ll need to print them out in order to scan the barcodes on them.
  6. Any item with a barcode to test that everything’s working.
