We’ve heard from many users who have had a hard time understanding the concept of the “Amazon buckets” used by Amazon’s new Products-API. And to be honest, it took me awhile to wrap my head around it, too.
Our developers created a tool that we’ve been using for a few months and now we’re releasing it for everyone to use and learn from.
Just enter an ASIN, select an Amazon Marketplace and specify a condition. The Amazon API will look at the 20 lowest-priced offers and group those with like characteristics into buckets.
Each row of results represents a unique bucket of offers and the lowest Price+Shipping is what is returned by the API.
