weekly news round-up

The biggest Amazon news of the week is the release of the new Kindles. But of course, there’s more. We released new versions of SellerEngine Plus and Profit Bandit as well. And there’s only one more week of tax-free Amazon shopping in California.

Everything you need to know about the new Kindles – If you’re a Kindle nut like me, then you were probably glued to the live stream yesterday waiting to see what would be released. I’m most excited about the WiFi Paperwhite Kindle, but I don’t know if I “need” another Kindle. I was very disappointed that the 4G Fire HD didn’t include a camera. I think it would’ve been great for scouting, especially with the low-cost 4G data plan. What do you think? Are you interested in any of the new models?

New Version of SellerEngine Plus Released – If you’re a SellerEngine Plus user, make sure you install version 3.0.19, released earlier this week. It contains some important bug fixes.

New Versions of Profit Bandit Released – A new version of Profit Bandit was released earlier this week for iOS. And by the end of today, Friday, September 7th, we’ll be releasing a new version of Profit Bandit for Android. Make sure you update!

No Free Lunch for California Shoppers – If you live in California, you’ve only got a week before September 15th before you’ll have to start collecting Sales Tax. Have any sellers seen any big growth in their shipments to California this week?
