Did you know that having customers who keep buying from you could mean a free advertisement for your business? Improving your relationship with loyal customers is one of the easiest ways to improve your business’s reputation.

If you have a happy customer who comes back and buys again, be sure to acknowledge this and to treat them well.

Go Above and Beyond

Ask yourself what you can do for your returning customers, not what they can do for you:

  • Write professional and personalized emails.
  • Solve complaints quickly and generously. Sometimes you may need to discount or refund the order. Don’t hesitate to do it, we guarantee that the customer will buy from you again!

Recognize Repeat Customers

Take a moment to acknowledge a repeat customer. It is so easy to send a quick message, “Thank you so much for ordering again.”

  • If a customer keeps buying from you, think about discounting shipping fees for a multiple order or offer a free item. Since we’re approaching Christmas you could write a holiday greeting card.
  • Offer a small refund and a thank you message! Make your customer feel special!
  • Personalize your message and be genuine. Try to connect with your customer on a personal level!

Stay Positive and Stay in Touch

Follow-up on orders from the same customer. Develop a relationship

  • Confirm that everything was received on-time.
  • Make sure that the products you sold met your customer’s expectations.
  • Ask what you can do to make their next purchase from you even better!

The happier you make a repeat customer, the more likely they’ll be to mention the great service they received to others. They’re also more likely to leave positive feedback on future orders.

It’s a small investment in time and effort on your part that can reap big rewards.
