Tip #1: The Secret Formula

Profits = People + Product + Price

Show people your products at an appealing price. That’s what a retail business of any kind boils down to.

Of course, it’s not as easy as it looks.

Finding new products can be a challenge and how do you find new people? And what’s the right price?

  • People: Start selling in an international Amazon marketplace or sell on ebay. Or optimize your product pages with the right keywords so they show up in more search results.
  • Products: Look for wholesale opportunities to increase your inventory. Branch out into new product lines. Create bundles of unique products.
  • Price: Experiment with pricing strategies. If you have a steady source of inventory, maybe a lower margin per sale would lead to greater overall profit.
