The SellerEngine Spark award included $100 for the winners to put towards their inventory.
Today we heard from Sue, who took her $100 and Profit Bandit to a local store and found gold.
Here’s what she had to say:
“Spent some of my prize money today! 🙂 I found a toy for $20 that was out of stock on Amazon with a rank of about 400,000. I used Profit Bandit to list it Merchant Fulfilled in the store while I shopped. When I got home about 30 minutes later… it’s in pending! I’m going to go out and get a few more! I love items that are out of stock and have rank – it shows that they sell!!” – Sue R.
This was a great insight by Sue to realize that an out-of-stock item with rank of 400,000 probably means that it was a good seller until it was no longer available. Many sellers would pass by a toy with sales rank of 400,000, thinking that it would sell too slowly. But Sue’s hunch paid off and she has already sold a few of them!
And while we’ll share a lot of what the SellerEngine Spark winners tell us, we won’t share the name of the great item that Sue found 🙂
