How did you find out about Profit Bandit?
Jessica Larrew created a guide called “10 Quick-Start Tips for Amazon FBA” for Smart Passive Income Listeners. Her first tip was to install the Profit Bandit app and that’s what I did!
What do you like most about Profit Bandit?
I like that it scans in barcodes quickly and that it displays all of the important information that I need on the first screen. I don’t have a lot of time to shop for inventory (I work 50 hours a week at my regular job) so I like that I can scan and make decisions quickly.
It helps me make purchasing decisions while I’m out shopping. It’s so easy to scan in a barcode or do a search and know what the products ranking is and what my profit will be based on my buy cost, selling cost and Amazon fees. Without Profit Bandit (or any scanning app) I wouldn’t even have an Amazon Business unless it was 100% online sourcing.
I started seven months ago and Profit Bandit helps me make a profit on every item I sell.
What’s your best Profit Bandit story?
My first shopping trip for inventory was at a thrift store. Using Profit Bandit, I found that the factory shrink- wrapped game “Risk: Lord of the Rings Edition” was selling on Amazon for over $100.00. That was pretty cool for my first day of shopping.
What do you like most about having an Amazon business?
I like that I can work on my Amazon business on my own time and at my own pace and that profits are possible early on.
I haven’t found anything that I really dislike. I do admit that it is overwhelming at times because Amazon has so many rules to follow and plus this is an actual business so you have to deal with business licenses, sales tax & bookkeeping. There’s more involved than just the simple description of finding products to sell, sending them to Amazon and then getting paid.
I almost gave up shortly after signing up as a Seller because I wasn’t expecting to have to learn so much. But I stuck with it and am happy that I did.
What would you tell other Amazon sellers about Profit Bandit?
I would tell them that it scans much faster than the free Amazon Seller scanning app and the price is more affordable compared to other paid scanning apps.
I did a free trial of a more expensive one and didn’t see any reason to switch over to it.
