888 Lots Lotathon
We took our Lot of the Day feature and made a whole 24-hour event out of it. The special pre-Black Friday sale consisted of 48 ‘Lots of the Day’ across different categories. This means a new lot was available every 30 minutes. Each lot had a flat shipping cost of $8.88, as is our Lot of the Day traditionally.
In order to not allow one buyer to hog all the lots, we instated a rule that allows each customer to buy a maximum of 6 lots in total for the entire duration of the lotathon. Also, if a buyer purchased 2 lots in a row he had to take a break. These rules made the entire experience fairer and more fun for everyone.
Our first lotathon took place on Wednesday, November 26 through Thursday, November 27 from 12pm to 12pm, however the deadline was pushed until more lots were sold. This means the lotathon continued well during Thanksgiving day.
Overall, it was a success. The first lot was sold in literally less than a minute.
Individual items FBA Prep and Ship
We have introduced an FBA Prep and Ship service for all individual items with a price of above $10. This service is available only for our Lots Master subscription plan and it is definitely worth it. We will do labeling, packing and shipping for your items directly to FBA. Oversized items are packed free of charge. We charge only $0.20 for every label and we can use your label to ship to Amazon. Per the customer’s request we can also take photos of the product, so you can rest assured you get what you pay for and that the process is running smoothly.
