Boost your Amazon profits. How?
We have run thousands of tests on Amazon for our clients. Based on the results, we can say that the simple strategies below work best, helping many of them increase sales. I think an increase of conversions by 5 to10% is achievable and that you could do it using the latest Amazon SEO optimizing techniques tips below.
First, acknowledge the most important elements of your listing. For most of our readers, they should be:
1. Photos
2. Title
3. Features
4. Description
5. AB Testing
Each of these elements should be addressed. I saw 20%+ jumps in conversion rates and sales for some of my own items on FBA using these techniques, and hundreds of sellers are applying them.
Here are some quick tips to improve each.
1. Photos (average sales boost of 21%+):
- Minimize the white space around the product in the photo, so that they look bigger compared to competitor products.
- Use high quality, zoomable images taken by a professional photographer.
- Try out different main images, and use the one that generates the most sales.
2. Title (average sales boost 17%+):
- Use 3+ major keywords in the title while keeping the text smooth and engaging.
- Highlight the main benefit – the one that gives you a competitive edge.
- Test several different titles, and use the highest converting one.
3. Features (average sales boost 11%+):
- Review your competitors’ 1, 2 and 3-star reviews, and point out how your product lacks or overcomes the issues mentioned.
- Include 6+ different main keywords, scattered throughout, keeping the text easy to read.
- Test different options to see which one has the highest conversion rate.
4. Description (average sales boost 12%+):
- To bring out the best in your product, try to appeal to many types of customer with a list of detailed product features.
- Ask customers to “Buy while stocks last” or “Add to cart and buy now”. Including a call to action at the end of the description has resulted in an average 10% + increase in conversion.
5. AB Testing (average sales boost 36%+):
- Test two or more options (option A, option B, etc.), and see which one results in higher profits.
- Run tests on your Main Photo, Features, Price, and Title every month.
- Allow 5 to 7 days after you make a change, to see how it affects sales.
Using these tips and our software resulted in an average boost result of more than $1,179 extra sales per product, per month.
