FBI Takes Down Profit Bandit Pirates – Yesterday we received an email from the FBI saying that 3 websites accused of pirating Android apps were seized by the Department of Justice. Thanks for looking out for us (and thousands of other software developers)!
How Many Book Sales Equals an Amazon Best Sellers – This is an interesting attempt to quantify the number of sales it takes to be the top selling book on Amazon. However, as we know from past research, there’s more to Sales Rank than just sales volume. Of course, if you’re getting hundreds of sales per day, your sales frequency must be pretty high too 🙂
JP Morgan Downgrades Amazon Shares – The reason for the downgrade is due to fears over increasingly shrinking margins and reduced profits in the quarters ahead.
